Open City: Toronto Edition is intended for people 18 years or older. The game includes fictional crime, simulated weapons and violence, and mature themes. Accounts require an age confirmation, but this is not independent age verification.
Personal accounts
Choose a username you are entitled to use. Do not impersonate another person, abuse account features, probe the server, or attempt to access other players' accounts. You are responsible for securing your password. There is no password reset or email-based recovery at this stage.
Free beta, fictional currency
This is an experimental single-player web game in public beta. Accounts store separate personal progress; multiplayer, real-money prizes, purchases, virtual-currency exchange, and competitive leaderboards are not currently provided. All game cash is fictional and has no monetary value.
Availability and preservation
The beta may be updated, interrupted, or reset while features are being improved. Save reliability is tested but not guaranteed. You may delete your account and online save through the game interface.
